5 Steps to Beat Winter Skin

The most important steps in the winter months are to cleanse and moisturise, the other steps assist with anti-ageing, skin correction and blemish control.

STEP 1: CLEANSE

The first step in your skincare routine is to ensure that it is clean. Did you know that cleansing removes dead skin cells, oils, dirt and excess sebum to ensure that your pores do not become clogged? Once you’ve cleansed, your skin will be left feeling fresh (and even lighter). You have also prepped your skin for the steps to follow.

STEP 2: SERUM

Serums are the best way to deliver nutrients to your skin. Applying a serum after cleansing is a great way to promote healthy collagen production. Aim for a serum with antioxidant properties as these diminish the skin’s inflammatory response.
