Here at Amazing Oils, we've dedicated our lives to unlocking the best-kept secrets in natural health, and then delivering them to you in the most innovative, convenient and, we hope, enjoyable ways!
With our roots in Ayurveda, as yoga and meditation teachers, followed by many years developing nutritional supplements and listening to our wonderful customers, we've gathered a remarkable wealth of knowledge on the body, the myriad of ailments that can arise when out of balance, and the key elements essential to a swift return to optimal health.
While we will never stray from our devotion to topical magnesium as the best delivery system for this critical nutrient, we are very excited to be bringing you a more nutritionally comprehensive and holistic offering - a range of delicious Functional Drinks, created using the active ingredients we've seen and experienced to be the most potent and effective.
Our vision was to elevate our star ingredient, Magnesium of course, to even higher heights by blending with other key nutrients, herbs and superfoods to support health and wellbeing beyond anything we've done before.
Here's what you can expect:
Types of oral magnesium we've used:
Magnesium Glycinate - a chelated form of magnesium bound to the amino acid Glycine which allows for better absorption and higher GI tolerance than other forms. Glycine itself has a relaxing effect on the nervous system.
Magnesium Citrate - formed through a process of combining magnesium with citric acid. Commonly used in oral supplements as a great all rounder. Due to the citrate component, we have added Bicarbonate to further increase solubility and absorption.
Ingredient Focus
With our latest drink formulations we wanted to break the mould of traditional magnesium powder by including ingredients found in Eastern traditional medicine combined with more modern functional nutrition.
Traditional Ingredients
Ashwagandha- an Ayurvedic adaptogen, commonly known for it's remarkable impact on stress release.
Kakadu Plum - A native Australian fruit which contains the highest amount of vitamin C of any naturally occurring food.
Passionflower- Historically used by Native Americans as a type of sedative - this ingredient then rose to fame in Europe for it's soothing effects.
Modern Ingredients
Pre Biotics - Foods that assist our gut microbiome, such as Chicory Root
Pro Biotics- LactoSpore® is a probiotic preparation that contains live microorganisms to improve the "good" bacteria in the body.
Our Drinks have been carefully formulated by our Founders in collaboration with our in-house Naturopaths, external advisors and our whole team, bringing together the best of our collective knowledge in order to bring you something pretty special. Something that delivers! Every ingredient is there for a reason, to harness the best of nutritional science and nature and bring you back into balance.
