Chocolate Peanut Butter Slice

A winning combination of flavours!

A guilt-free treat that you can keep in your freezer for times when those cravings hit...

This healthy no-bake slice features the wonderful flavours of chocolate and peanut butter - name a better duo!

This slice has a soft peanut butter drizzle which pairs perfectly with the divine sweetness of maple syrup.

We call them "guilt-free" as they contain no refined sugar and are completely vegan and gluten-free!

So what's in it?

This slice contains very simple ingredients, but it has been carefully crafted with magnesium content in mind.

The key magnesium-rich players here are cacao, peanut butter and oats.


Raw cacao is the highest known source of magnesium per gram on the planet!


Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Vegan


5 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp peanut butter

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup cacao powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cup rolled oats

pinch salt


1 tbsp coconut oil

1/3 cup peanut butter

1 tbsp maple syrup


  • In a small saucepan, melt the 5 tbsp of coconut oil over a low heat.
  • Stir in the peanut butter, maple syrup, cacao powder, vanilla and pinch salt.
  • when fully combines remove from heat and stir in the rolled oats.
  • Spoon mixture into a lined baking tin and put in the fridge while making the drizzle.
  • For the drizzle, stir all the ingredients (peanut butter, maple syrup and coconut oil) in a saucepan over a low heat.
  • Spoon the warm peanut butter mixture over the chocolate oat base and make sure it is spread evenly.
  • Put into the freezer for 20 minutes before slicing into desired size pieces.
  • Keep in the fridge or freezer - it is tasty both ways!
