Simple Cookie Dough

The whole family can enjoy this one!

Cookie dough is here to save your day. This recipe is perfect for those stuck in lockdown.

To make this recipe you will need a food processor, or blender.

We opted to create this recipe as a dairy free, refined sugar free and vegan version. Feel free to substitute your own variations in.

Eat as is or bake into cookies

This recipe is loaded with magnesium so you will be sure to get your daily fix (and satisfy those chocolate cravings).

Ingredients that contain higher levels of magnesium are banana, almond butter and cacao

*warning, this probably won't last long in your household!

Did you know that if you are craving chocolate, you could be deficient in magnesium?


Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Vegan


3 x ripe bananas

2 tbsp almond butter

2 tbsp vanilla pea protein powder

1 tbsp cacao powder (optional)

1 tsp vanilla extract

pinch salt

1/2 cup dairy-free choc chips/pieces


  • Add all ingredients into food processor, except chocolate pieces
  • Blend until it forms a smooth dough
  • Scoop out into bowl and stir through chocolate pieces
  • Refrigerate for a while to firm the dough up
  • Alternatively you can bake it into delicious choc chip cookies!
  • Simple as that. Enjoy!
