Chocolate Avocado Mousse

The best part about this avocado chocolate mousse is that it tastes so decadent and so sinful that you completely forget you’re getting so many health benefits at the same time!

With the right recipe, avocado in mousse can really be delicious! Silky and smooth, this mousse will quickly become your favourite thing to make with those ripe avocados laying around. You just need a blender!

Avocados contain nearly 20 vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.

Avocados also have the least amount of sugar per serving of any fruit, and they act as a “nutrient booster” by helping the body to better absorb fat-soluble nutrients.

One medium avocado provides 58 mg of magnesium, which is 15% of the RDI


Gluten Free, Refined Sugar Free, Vegan


2 ripe avocados

1/3 cup cacao powder

3-4 tbsp milk of choice

1 tsp vanilla extract

pinch salt

2 medjool dates

1-2 tbsp agave syrup (optional)


1. Scoop out the flesh of the avocados into blender

2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until completely smooth

3. Add more milk if needed to get your desired consistency - careful not to add to much or the mousse may become too watery

4. Enjoy immediately! It will keep in the fridge for about a day. The avocado starts to turn if it's left much longer than that.
